Uffff….I had a veeery long day and frankly, the only thing I can think of right now is the holiday in Lefkada, that is only a few weeks away. This will be the first Broccoli and Muffins destination.
Fascinated by the natural beauty of this island, we chose, for the second consecutive year, a holiday in Lefkada. And if last year it was just me and Gabi, this year Broccoli and Muffins is coming along.
How long will it last? 14 days, enough time for everything:
- I will check out all the farmer`s markets, the island is full of them! I can`t wait to taste the sweet oranges, the delicious figs, the sun dried tomatoes and of course, the natural greek yogurt. My favorite! Usually, my summer holiday means stacking up on oregano, basil, olive oil and so on, and so forth.
- This year, every lunch or dinner will be subject to a photo shoot, the blog goes on, am I right? The Mediterranean cuisine and the greek taverns are always inspiring and this year I will share the experience with you, my readers. I`ll try to reveal a few secrets of the greek kitchen, maybe we could whip something up when I come back. Anything in particular that you are interested in?
- Lefkada is a rich source of sightseeing material and last year we could not scratch everything off our list. From the gorgeous turquoise water, to the remote authentic little towns, this year we plan on seeing everything!
- Last, bot not least, Kite-surfing for Gabi and pictures for me!
Now you get why we need 14 days?
Impatiently waiting for the holiday in Lefkada, signed by Andreea “thinking of the holiday“, Gabi “if the wind would blow I might launch the kite in the garden” and Broccoli and Muffins “can`t wait for the first blog destination“
